Alison Esparza

Director

 

Alison (Montgomery) Esparza was born and raised in Richardson, Texas. She began dancing at the age of 3 at Academy of Dance Arts, and moved to Talent N More at the age of 9. Alison was a member of the TNM competition teams and served as captain. She attended JJ Pearce High School where she was a 3 year member of the Pacesetters. Alison was a member of the elite dance teams and served as Jr. Lieutenant and 1st Lieutenant. Following high school Alison attended Texas Christian University. She was a 4 year member of the TCU Elite Dance Team. As a member of the competitive dance team, she had the opportunity to compete in Daytona, Florida and Anaheim, California.

After college Alison was a long term sub at Lake Highlands with the Highlandettes and dance classes. After leaving Lake Highlands she became the JV director and Varsity Assistant director at Lewisville High School for three years. Mrs. Esparza is coming to Lake Highlands from Berkner High where she was the director of the Bandoleras for 2 years. She is so excited to be back at Lake Highlands and grateful to be a part of the Highlandette  organization. Alison teaches Dance 1  and Drill Prep. She resides in Richardson, TX with her husband Edgar and dog Ghost.
